Happy Friday ladies! What are you looking forward to this weekend? Any plans?
I'm working a half day at home and then headed to the doctor to finally switch my BC over to Mirena. We have no plans for kids, and between the hormones and possibly forgetting to take it, I'm super glad to be getting off the pill.
This weekend is mostly errands and a massive cleaning of the house for us. My parents are coming in town for their annual summer visit next Thursday for a long weekend (they live in Texas, we are in Missouri). This will be their first visit to our first home we bought in April, so I really want it sparkling clean

I'm catching up on laundry and house cleaning today. I kept putting it off thinking that maybe baby would show up...but nope. We're still in the wait and see mode.
We don't have much planned for this weekend. I think H may go golfing at some point. All I really want to do is relax and I really want to get Taco Bell. LOL that's all I can think about this morning.
Mmm.. taco bell does sound good! Jurbs - when's your due date again?
Well, I bought that car yesterday!! Yay!! Now just have to get used to the size difference.
Tonight, we don't have any plans. It seems like we were running around every night this week. I didn't cook once! So hopefully taking it easy and doing nothing.
Tomorrow, I have to go to the grocery store. Then we are going to my parents for a cookout.
Sunday, we were thinking about going down south to a state park and riding our bikes around. Plus there's a little downtown/shopping area we would walk around for a bit. Not sure if we'll be up for it, or if we'll just stay home.

Tonight - I need to clean for tomorrow!
Tomorrow, I'm having a small get together. I'm having some friends over, and we're going to eat, drink, and play cornhole! I'm making several different kinds of jello shots.
Sunday - I have to go to church with my parents, and then who knows what.

Your get together sounds like so much fun! We love corn hole. I got DH a customized set for Christmas that was designed to look like a cigar box of his favorite cigar brand (he collects cigars, but only smokes them a handful of times a year. Go figure). No one here has a clue what it is though. I guess washers is the big get together BBQ game in the Midwest.
What is cornhole?
Tonight DH and I are going to go see BIL in a play and probably go for dinner.
Saturday I'm also having some friends over for food, drinks and games, so I'll spend the day cleaning.
Sunday is family dinner with the in-laws.
Plus I have some freelance to work on, so it's a busy one!
We have no major plans for the weekend. We just got pre-approved for a home loan (!!!!!!) so our next step is to find a realtor.
Cornhole is basically bean bag toss. Two wooden boards with a hole and you try to get your bean bag in and knock the opponents bag off the board.
I used to live in Florida and it was always a staple at get togethers and tailgate parties.
Congrats! That's so exciting!!
It's so funny that cornhole is a staple cookout/tailgaiting game here.. I sometimes forget a lot of people have never heard about it!

Yup, Nashville! We haven't been in a couple years. Sam loves eating at the Artist Colony Inn.. (I think that's what it's called). Have fun at your cookout. And I love jello shots!

Haha I always find it funny that it's called cornhole and so many other names.
H has been gone on biz all week and he's gone the next two, also, so our plans are up in the air. He's golfing tomorrow and I have to help a friend find a Tiffany Blue bridesmaid dress. (This whole wedding is a clusterf***, as the bride and groom are already married (for insurance purposes when he lost his job), and are having a PPD, complete with attendants and a full ceremony. They don't have a lot of money, so it's really confusing to me why they'd spend it on this wedding. anyway ...)
My only request for our weekend is to see "The Conjuring" at some point. I love scary movies.
Then I have to spend some time thinking career move. My boss recently left to be a stay-at-home dad to his newborn triplets for a year. So that means his job is open. I think I want it, but I have to convince the hiring manager that I want it.

Also, no way would I see The Conjuring. I hate scary movies.. but my 18 year old brother saw it last weekend. And he tried to sleep in my parents bed that night, haha! My mom was OOT, and my dad kicked him out.. but he still slept on the floor of their room with all the lights on. DH is bummed I won't go with him, he really wanted to see it.
I would like to see The Heat. But - I'm not even going to ask him, because I know he'll only see that with me if I see The Conjuring with him.

I know! I got some serious looks from my coworkers here when I tried telling them I got DH a customized cornhole game for Christmas. They were like you got him a whaaaa?? Lol
No big plans. H works tonight. Tomorrow I have to go to a baby shower for one of his cousins. MIL asked SIL and I if we wanted to carpool but we are going to go seperate from her in case we want to leave earlier than she does. She couldn't just ask us like a normal human being, she sent us both a text that said "LET'S GO GREEN!!"
Anyways, that's all I've got planned. Probably relax on Sunday unless something comes up.
