  I drink right after I BF and then wait 3-4 hours before pumping. I only drink after he has gone down the for night. Prior to that I would have 1-2 oz of wine and then wait at least an hour before BF or pumping. I'm probably on the conservative side though.

  If you feel safe to drive, you're probably safe to BF.  The alcohol will leave your milk like it leaves your bloodstream - so a couple of hours after the drink, you should be good to go. 

  I did pump and dump once because I felt pretty tipsy, and I needed to pump (I was engorged).

  I don't think I would feel comfortable doing that, either, but that's interesting!  I never heard that, but it does make sense.

  If you feel tipsy then yes, otherwise no. I never pumped and dumped. I usually had a drink while pumping or right after so the the alcohol would be out of my system by the next time I needed to pump.

  I go by the if I could drive a car I can bf or pump. If I get drunk (which happened once) I wait to pump till in the morning and mix it with other milk.

  Ditto pp. I can't wait till B sleeps better so I feel like I can drink. Right now, I don't want to be any drowsier during the night than I already am, and wine makes me so sleepy. Happy, but sleepy.
