So...he was delayed an hour, and he's still on London time, and still working, but when we got home I made him sit down and exchange gifts. He opened the box and saw the note and was like, "okay..." and then he ripped through the tissue and exclaimed, "We have a hooman in there?!?!?" (we do the lolcat speak a lot when it's just the two of us) and I said yes we have a hooman in there and he was just beaming.
Then, of course, he kicked into over-analyzing mode of "well you need to do this and this and this," and I just smiled and said I know. Oh, DH.
But he's excited!
