  • I thought we did great because of Friday until I started adding stuff up. It was a dismal weekend...

Friday: Free tickets to a baseball game. $7 parking and $15 in public transport between the two of us (we had to go separately). Food/Beer: $0. Friend's company footed the bill (hence the free tix). I bought a hat at a running store on my lunch hour, which I needed: $23.

Saturday: $14 for two iced lattes at Dunkin Donuts and donuts to bring to a party. $25 at the grocery store to pick up food for guys' night. The guys were supposed to chip in, but didn't. We're out the money and I'm pissed. $55 at the liquor store on two bottles of liquor.

Sunday:  $81 in groceries for the week.

    Total: $220
