Dry Clean

I just bought a bunch of new work clothes and totally forgot to check the labels. One says, "Dry Clean." It is 90% Rayon and 10% Nylon. I have a brand new front-end washer and matching dryer. They do have steam clean.

Can I clean it at home? Also, how?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Dry Clean

  • I very, very rarely have used a dry cleaner over the years. I wash on a gentle cycle with Woolite and usually hang or lay flat to dry. Sometimes, I put it on the "air" cycle of the dryer to knock a little moisture out of it and then dry it as above.

I would think the steam cycle would be OK. I've never had that option, so I don't know how "clean" the clothes look/smell after that.
