When did you buy mat pants?
My jeans are super uncomfortable... Even though I've lost weight. And I can't even wear my dress pants anymore
when did you start buying maternity pants? Where from? Links to your favourites? TIA!
Congrats to my TTC buddy Madeline!

Re: When did you buy mat pants?
I did the belly band with DS from about 8-12 weeks. Then I couldn't stand it anymore and started wearing maternity pants at 12 weeks. I loved the Demi panels from ON. I bought most of mine at consignment sales or thrift stores. Could you do more skirts and dresses as well?
I am still in pre pregnancy shorts and pants this time. But I am also 20lbs lighter than I was before I got pregnant with DS. I am hoping to make it through the summer without needing maternity shorts!

i don't really have skirts that fit anyways. I have dresses but when I am just at home, it's not comfy and it has been so cool here lately, I would freeze!

i was thinking about leggings. I just need longer shirts. I don't think I have that cover my butt :-/

I just started last week at 17 weeks. I went to Motherhood Maternity and bought capri leggings, jeans, work slacks and capri carpenter pants (blanking on what these are called.) There are good websites like Zulily and Asos but I was afraid to buy pants because I had no idea what size, etc. Otherwise I have just been wearing non-maternity dresses. I've heard Old Navy and Kohls have good maternity but not in the stores.
love love love mother hoods leggings!
To make you feel my love.
i tried this. The rubber band kept flying off and none if my shirts were long enough to cover it. Lol.

Probably by around 10-12 weeks. I gained a lot of weight 1st tri, and I always felt bloated. I say it's never too early to buy them. There's no point being uncomfortable!
ON and Gap have super comfy jeans (and good sales)!
This. I'm also weird and don't like how my shirts "stick" against the full panel so I just fold down the full panel to below my bump. My hips still stick out more than my sides, so everything stays pretty well in place.

About 9 weeks. I never tried the belly band b/c I heard mixed reviews about it and figured new pants would just be more comfortable. Mine are from Motherhood. At first, I folded down the full panel so it was as low as my normal waistbands would be, but after a few weeks I found it more comfortable to have the full panel up.
I plan to never wear non-elastic waist pants again.
I started wearing Materinity pants around 8 weeks. I was always fine in the morning but by early afternoon I was so bloated and uncomfortable. The stretchiness was heaven!
I agree. It's going to be very hard to go back to normal pants.
