Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

AW: My dad is sending me a birthday gift today! (Update)
...My birthday is in late-September, lol.
He called me yesterday and told me he shipped me a birthday gift because he "couldn't wait." He gave me a tracking number and UPS says it should arrive before end of day today.
I looked at the description a little deeper and it says that it weights 52 lbs!
He said that he hopes "it is useful and that I like it." I'm thinking something baby related but not sure what.
This day could not go any slower...I'm excited!
Sorry that there's absolutely no point to this. Ha!
***Update***
DH got home early and saw it on the porch! It's a......
...HEPA filter for the house. No joke. Lol!! My dad is an engineer and this makes perfect sense. He goes, "It's to have cleaner air in the house for the baby so he/she doesn't develop allergies or get sick as much."
It's his way of saying he's really excited for the baby - without actually going out and buying baby stuff. He got something practical. There are no words for how much I love my daddy.

ETA: Haha that is awesome! Definitely not something you would think of getting for yourself. I love practical gifts! And I love seeing parents get so excited about their future grandchildren.
