Re: Weightloss Wednesday
I'm happy to report that I am still on track. I usually fall off after about two weeks of dieting, but I am determined to reach my goals! I've lost 5lbs so far and I'm hoping to loose the next 10lbs over the next month and a half.
The weekends are definitely harder for me, but I did pretty good this past weekend, even with my stepdaughters birthday party. I just wish I could have fit in a work out but we were just too busy on Friday and Saturday and I was exhausted on Sunday.
I'm pretty proud of myself though, because I went to the gym by myself yesterday and Monday. H didn't want to go and in the past, I wouldn't go unless he went. But, he's not sticking to eating healthy and exercising, and I'm not going to let his choices affect mine anymore.
I was at a bachelorette party this weekend. I decided I could act 21 again and ride a mechanical bull. I was in so much pain Sunday and Monday I could barely move. I felt like I'd been in a car accident. I've been nonstop nauseous from it too. I haven't worked out because of that. I'm going to the gym on my lunch today so hopefully that will help.
My TOM is officially 2 days behind schedule and that is not helping at all. I'm retaining a lot of water. It's also starting to freak me out because it is like clockwork normally. I'll take a test if I don't get it by Sunday. Not ready for that!!
Eek, this happened to me in May while I was traveling for work. I was so stressed about it, which wasn't helping the situation at all...hang in there, I hope it works out for you

I went to the gym Monday and plan to go tonight and Friday. No scale movement, but like everyone else - TOM is near.
I'm trying to eat more side salads with my meals, so we will see. I'm better if I add something than take away. So I'm adding a salad before the big meal thinking I'll eat less of the big meal. So far so good!

I've been eating healthier, sticking to eating only at meals. I normally snack all day. I am working hard to cut out soda and trying to drink only water or seltzer. I am getting better every week with it.
This weekend was a wash out. I went to Atlantic City on Friday to see New Kids on the Block and ate and drank whatever I wanted. Saturday, we headed to Long Island to go to a wedding on Sunday. H and I had dinner at an amazing restaurant with a former coworker and her husband. Of course we had drinks and appetizers and since we were staying in a hotel and I couldn't take leftovers, I ate the entire meal even though I was full. Sunday, we were at a wedding, even worse eating...
Exercise wise, I've been taking these hot ballet barre classes. Today was my third. It's a combination of yoga, pilates and ballet. It's very hard but i feel great after it. I had a Groupon for 5 classes but I don't think I will extend the package after I am finished. I want to go back to the gym, but I desperately need new sneakers. Mine are passed worn out.
