TV Tuesday

Since we haven't had a TV post in a while, I figured I'd pose a question to you guys. I mentioned before that DH and I recently discovered How I Met Your Mother on Netflix and are absolutely obsessed. I'm trying hard to keep us at a decent pace, but we have blown through the episodes and are at the end of Season 5 already. Lol! This is the first time in a very long time DH has really enjoyed watching a tv show.

So my question is this - what other shows do you guys like that are kind of like HIMYM? Shorter episodes are preferable, funny, upbeat, etc.

ETA - Doesn't necessarily have to be a current show on tv either. If we can catch it on Netflix or DVD, that's almost preferable so we can watch it at our own pace.

And has anyone seen any good movies lately? Anything good coming out soon? We rarely make it to the movies anymore, but I used to love going.

Anniversary Birthday

Re: TV Tuesday

  • We used to watch The Office. We watched some of the It's always Sunny in Philadelphia shows. He watches a lot of the shows on history and discovery (i.e. swamp people, pawn stars, moonshiners, counting cars, etc)

  • Ah! I'm so glad you guys are loving HIMYM! It's my jam :)

I was madly in love with "Happy Endings", but it just ended this past season. For sure the most underrated show on television and I'm definitely going to miss it!

  • Got home late today and catching the new episodes of shipping wars.

The Big Bang Theory is a good one if you haven't seen it yet. New Girl is quirky.

  • I would try Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls and Rules of Engagement
