Don't stress! I have been in your shoes multiple times. Your room will be ready, trust me. At the end of the 2011-2012 year, I was told the day before the last day of school that I had to move rooms. I scrambled to get boxes and had the kids pack my room. When I walked in last September, my room was beyond a disaster. I couldn't find essential items, so I had to unpack everything to find the stuff I really needed. The day before the kids came in, it was still a mess. I made sure what they would need was ready and put everything else back in boxes. Over the next 2 weeks or so I did a little every day, before and after school and at lunch. I started out disorganized, but it ended up great. Your room will be completed, I promise! It doesn't need to be perfect right away, it just needs to look that way. What's hidden in boxes and cabinets, people won't know about unless you show them.
