Re: Weekend Plans?
Tonight - we're going to Target to get Brody's airplane (for sleeping in his own bed) and a gift for a birthday party tomorrow. The kids want to eat at Cookie Park. (aka Eat N Park)
Tomorrow - in the early morning we're going to a community yard sale, Noah has a birthday party in the afternoon and it's our community days so we'll go down and check that out and probably watch the fireworks. (Brody is usually afraid of fireworks, so he and I may stay home).
Sunday - since we're busy Fri and Sat I hope to do a whole lotta nothing! (but will have to do my usual laundry and some cleaning though)
DH is on a golf trip, so tonight I'm just going to hang with M&G and probably order pizza. My brother is coming over later in the evening to stay over night. (Because 1. I am a scaredy cat about staying in the house by myself and 2. so he can watch the boys when I do my run on Sat morning.)
Saturday - Early morning run, the boys are getting their pictures taken, we're going to lunch with my mom, then my parents are taking the boys for the afternoon and overnight, so I will be a free woman! I plan on getting a pedicure, taking a nap, and going to a big all weekend party that my friend is having. They have a pool and big fire pit and they're also having live music and a DJ. They live in the middle of the woods so it will kind of be like I am re-living my music festival college days. I am excited!
Sunday - Sleeping in and recovering from the day before. Will head to my parent's at some point to pick up the boys. We're grilling out when DH gets home that evening.
TGIF!
Tonight: Brian wants to mow the lawn, I want to run, so hopefully we can fit both of those activities in
Sat: Brian is running a 5K with a friend, me and the kids are probably going to meet up with some friends in the morning at a playground if the weather cooperates.
Sun: Jake has a bday party in the early afternoon, I'm going to take him to that and after the party, I told him we could go to target to get his school supplies (SQUEEE!!)
Jake - 1.15.08
Liam - 5.17.11
tonight we are having a tapas type dinner with the neighbors. Not sure what the kids are eating. maybe I will bring some cereal for them. hahahaha.
tomorrow - i am not sure if we even have any plans. which is pretty glorious. I am off all of next week and so we have a list of things EJ and I came up with to keep us busy and out of K's hair (as he works from home and is only off next thurs/fri). so perhaps we will pick something form the list to do.
Plan on running sunday morning- and getting my grocery shopping in for hte week too. Otherwise just trying to relax and have fun with my girl!
Steve's friend from high school is visiting this weekend. he's a huge baseball fan and is flying in to check out the "new and improved" Pirates.
While they're busy, the boys and I are going to the zoo and having lunch with my parents and sister.
One of my college friends is coming over with her son late afternoon.
Sunday I'm meeting my BFF at South Park so that kids can burn off energy at the playground.
We have a new cleaning service coming Monday, and I need to get ready for that as well. They do things like change linens, so I need to get sheets/towels out for changing and make sure the toys are picked up. I swear having cleaning people is my version of a personal trainer. knowing they're coming to do real cleaning makes me do all kinds of picking up and purging
Tonight- Pirate game with my girlfriends
Tomorrow - Kennywood work picnic
Sunday - niece's b-day party, laundry, yard work, etc.
You are more than welcome to come with me if your community days falls through! Although the sad reality is that I'll probably fall asleep by 10, and then wake up with a horrible hang over from the 2 drinks I had the night before. haha!
Ditto!!
Tonight- nothing major. DH has been traveling all week. We are glad to see him come home! Ha.
Saturday- My mom, Madi and I are headed to Idlewild for the daycare picnic. Hope the weather holds out.
Sunday- Well after being on vacation, then away last weekend at family's lake house.... I need a day to catch up on all things around my house. I have piles of clean laundry all over the place. Ha. Need to grocery shop too.
TGIF ladies!
Tonight-don't know, maybe go to mad mex so Nathan can get his birthday burrito. Also, I want to try and get all the kitchen shelves lined so I can unpack the boxes for the kitchen
Saturday-I have to take my sister to pick up her car at the dealership since my parents are in NC. Go to the old house and get all my laundry and hopefully bring over Nathan's closet. I still need to go through crap in the attic, it is just so overwhelming but it is all that is left. Full finished attic is nice but it is also a dumping ground for the last 12 years!
Sunday-laundry, finish unpacking, grocery store.
TGIF from hot Houston!
Tonight: last night in the hotel, so we'll be enjoying the indoor pool and hot tub. Probably taking a drive over to the house, too, to drop off DH's car.
Saturday: up bright and early (which is the new normal around here as Sean now wakes up at 5:45a. Yawn) and we're moving into our rental house! So excited to unpack and find the new normal down here. It's going to be 99 degrees, though!
Sunday: more unpacking, returning the rental truck and then hitting up Walmart to buy the staples: condiments, milk, eggs, etc. and then getting ready for the week ahead as I'm back to work Monday and the younger two start daycare.
Meghan - enjoy your free night - you deserve it, even if you do fall asleep early!
My three sons!
