Anyone ready for the week to be over? Any fun plans this weekend?
We have our house inspection tomorrow. I'm getting nervous. Our realtor has been reminding us about all the things that could mess up buying this house (inspection, appraisal, the loan, etc). I'm not sure when I'm allowed to be excited and start preparing for our move.
My birthday is on Monday so H is taking me out to dinner this weekend. Last month he suggested taking me to Cheesecake Factory but last night he mentioned Olive Garden. Hmmmm decisions decisions.

One of my friends at work is moving away. I'm going to her going away party tonight which is a 'white trash bash'. I have some hot pink animal print shorts, a bright pink bra and a white coyote ugly tank. And a pink plaid hat. I'm trying to figure out how to do my makeup... DH suggested giving myself a black eye.
Tomorrow, DH has to go work at his cousins, so I'm going to deep clean the house. It could really use it. Plus some laundry.
Sunday, we don't have plans yet. Maybe go to the state fair??

Happy early birthday Quirky! I think both dinner options sound yummy. We went to Olive Garden last week for dinner and it was so good.
We don't have too much planned. H wanted to know if I wanted to just sleep all day tomorrow. I don't know how much I'll be able to sleep. I'm really nervous and anxious about everything happening Sunday.
Today I'm just running errands and finishing laundry and getting things picked up and stuff. Trying to stay busy so I don't sit and think or sit and eat.

Well ... update: I got my boss' old job. I had an official interview today and it was pretty low-key -- only took about 20 minutes. Anyway, I got offered the job at the end, with a 10 percent raise. I wanted more, but we had layoffs yesterday so I don't think I'll get any more. I have the weekend to think about it, but I'm going to say yes. So, congrats to me! It will be a lot more work and A LOT more pressure, but I'll be a section editor at a major daily newspaper so that's kinda cool I guess.
Weekend plans? Reveling in the weekend. Doing nothing. I worked 65 hours this week.
