What did you do for DHs last birthday?
October 2012 Board has lots of goodies!
Re: QotD 8/1
Last year Hs bday was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and he works in retail so he had to work. MIL & SIL were still visiting from the Holiday so I think they took us out to dinner. The following night I offered to make him whatever he wanted for dinner, which I believe was meatloaf and roasted red potatoes. I also offered to take him out, but he was beat from working so much, so I think we just stayed in a watched a movie.
We don't go overboard for each other's bdays since we're both born near holidays. We usually try and do a nice meal together.
DHs bday always falls during County Fair week for us. I don't remember what we did last year, but I know we went out to eat with my parents and DHs fam on different nights. We also probably went to the fair at least 3 times.
This year I know we will do the fair one day. Dinner with His Mom one day and his dad another. We really don't make a big deal out of it. Just happens to be a fun busy week for us!
My H's bday is Sept 14th , last year we just re did the basement so to show it off we had a "party" and got him shoes he really wanted.
He already picked out new sunglasses he wants...he going back and forth if he wants to go down the shore or stay local this year...I hope he picks the shore ha
That's adorable! I actually said awww out loud!
Well, H and I have the same birthday, so we usually get each other a gift and go out to eat.
Then my family will usually take us out or have us over for cake and his family will do the same. So it's usually a 3 day celebration.
This past year, I signed him up for an archery lesson. It's something he always talked about wanting to do but never had.... he loved it
