Kokomos on Linglestown Rd is closed!
Kokomo's Closes, Workers Laid Off
Re: Kokomos on Linglestown Rd is closed!
that stinks! that was the last one left. the one downtown was supposed to be moving but i bet they are never going to be opening back up! arooga's or whatever it is is basically the same thing. not too bad of a joint.
DH and I actually really prefer Arooga's over Kokomos on 22 now that its been changed over. We like their boneless wings.
Not sure why this was a surprise, as word of their closing came out last month, before Thanksgiving. If things go through, Arooga's will be taking it over.
Good riddance to poor ownership/management. The old owner can't seem to get on the right side of the law in his personal or professional life, so I'm glad to see it change hands to a better group of people.
I feel bad for the workers.
I had to laugh though this is the place that a coworker took me to to have my first shot of taquela when I turned 21. That was gross!
bounced.
not sure what happened with this post.... sorry ladies!
why am I not surprised? I work downtown right next to where the one used to be on 2nd and Pine- good riddance. that place attracted more roaches than I cared to see in my office!
Kokomos briefly owned the old Klinger's in Etters too. It was Kokomos for maybe a month- we went there one day and it had a different name (the fieldhouse). I think all of the Kokomo's are closed now aren't they?
We tried to go to Aroogas in camp hill this past weekend but it was so crazy busy it was 45 minutes for a table. maybe another week
