As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I saw some nesties talking about this yesterday and I found this little article. This shocks me actually.

Silicon Alley Insider reports that wedding planning/propaganda website The Knot might be closing. Reportedly, Macy's may not renew its registry contract, and the site is bleeding staff and looking for skilled interns.
Wow, I thought they were doing well.
I hope we don't lose the boards.

That would be so upsetting if the nest was gone!!!
Their latest financial reporting does not look grim.They are earning money, slightly less than last year. If Macy's would pull out who says Bed, Bath, and Beyond or someone else will not replace the account?

If you scroll down it explains the different branches of The Knot, one of which is our beloved Nest.
I also hope it doesn't affect the Nest boards.
Some of the comments made on that article were very annoying.
