MILLER!!!!!

hey raina!

i received the dresses in the mail yesterday!  thank you so much for sending them!  i hope paying it forward like this has a positive effect on your line choosing skills during the holiday season!  i promise i will send you pics of the wedding :)

Re: MILLER!!!!!

  • Well I hope one of them works out.

It's a win/win. Your friend gets a dress, I get space in my closet. Some holiday line choosing mojo certainly would be a bonus! YesGift

  • the big try on is happening friday.  i'll let you know how it works out.  the dresses are really beautiful though--THANK YOU!!

also, don't you make jewelry...?  i'm thinking of getting her something really unique for her wedding day and perhaps you might be willing to make it for me?

  • Oooh now I'm all excited! I love the lace on them. I thought the little roses were sweet.

Yup I make stuff. If you have any pictures of  what you had in mind (pearl or crystal, Victorian-ish, etc), just email them and we can take it from there and throw around ideas. I range from funky to simple so we can see what works.

  • cool.  she's such a unique person and she never ever takes time to do something for herself--which is why we're only STARTING the wedding planning 6 months out...anyway, i want to do something nice for her...maybe give it to her around bachelorette party time...like march-ish when i'm on spring break.  seem do-able?  if so i'll start digging into what she thinks she might like to wear and then you can do your handiwork and i'll love you forever :)
  • That is plenty of time.

Actually making something doesn't take a lot of time once you have a plan or design, but nailing down an idea is sometimes the hardest part. There are so many neat things you can do it's tough to choose.

You got my email so whenever. I'm around. Wink
