POLL: Santa
When you were a child, did you get gifts from just Santa or from Santa AND your parent's?
I can remember just getting gifts from Santa and never wondering why my parent's never got me anything.
Just curious as to what your parent's did when you still believed in Santa.
*my mom STILL writes from "Santa" on all of our Christmas gifts...lol

My mom seriously went all out and I believe in Santa for a long time. We got gifts from my parents and from Santa. She always used different wrapping paper, different tags on the gifts, different writing completely on the tags, and she kept presents at my grandparent's house returning late at night on Christmas Eve to get them.
We did cookies, milk, and carrots for Santa too and there always was a note left for us on Christmas morning.
My sister and I had from both Santa and our parents. We always wondered, though, why Santa had our dad's handwriting! But Santa always wrote a "Keep Up the Being Good Little Girls" on the note we'd write to him and my sister's (who is younger) eyes would get as big as saucers and tape the note to her door because she was in awe Santa would write something to her. lol
My parents would say that they'd mail their gifts to Santa for the elves to wrap so they could all be delivered Christmas Eve, and that's why they had the same paper. That worked until I accidently found their hiding spot one year (yeah... accidently....
)
DH always got gifts from both his parents and from Santa.
