?need icing help. I know how to make the icing that hardens as the base color, but how do you make the icing that creates the detail that is more 3D? It has to harden since they are going in bags as part of a Christmas gift.?
?
I completely admit this is a stupid question

Re: OK baking Pros, HELP!
use the same icing but don't spread it flat.
The 3D effect comes from applying the icing through some kind of decorative tip. This can be as simple as putting a deecent size dollop of icing in a ziploc bag and clipping a small hole in one of the bottom corners of the bag so you can "pipe" the icing into balls or squiggles or straight lines. You can also get a simple set of decorative tips and icing bags (like a baker would use) at Michaels or any craft store.

You are awesome! Thank you
