DH language

Apparently in my DH's language "please tidy up we are getting company" translates into "hurry up play more video games". Sigh.

Re: DH language

  • Wait... that isn't what it means? Are you sure? ;)

  • Ugh Denise that's so annoying!  I hope he finally helped you!
  •

Once I told H to clean up we had company coming and I had to work late that day.  I get home and everything is just as I left it but DH is on his hands and knees in the kitchen with a tooth brush cleaning the grout!

I have to give it to him becuase he was cleaning, and we all know the grout was not on my priority list.  It still makes me chuckle when I think about it.

In my house it's : "please tidy up we are getting company" translates to "you will get sex tonight for tidying up".

Wait. That actually is how I translate it. Sorry.

  • LOL, Denise!
