Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I think I'm the Christmas failure
I purposely put off buying DH's Christmas present until yesterday because he's nosy and has keen figuring-out skills. I was going to buy him tickets to a concert in Chicago.
Then, yesterday when I went to buy the tickets, I ended up calling the venue and finding out that tickets weren't on sale yet. Nevermind that the band's website confirms that tickets ARE on sale now. I thought about renting us a hotel room for the night of the concert and wrapping up the confirmation, and some little clues for what will be coming, and then getting him the tickets for Valentine's Day, but then I decided that might be too long of a wait...
So, I decided to scrap that plan and go with my original original plan - which I have to order online. And now it won't be delivered until after Christmas.
Boo.

Can you just give him a picture of the gift?
If it's the thought that counts, then you are the best gift giver ever. That sounds like an awesome gift.
And IMHO, as far as what day the gift is given... that's just details.
I realize it is a bit of a bummer not to have it on Christmas but I ditto the two pp's. Just wrap a picture of the gift. Date received is not as important as long as he knows it is on the way.
