I'd love to hear what Santa brought you all for Christmas. What was your favorite and least favorite gift (if there was one)?

I had an awesome Christmas and got some great gifts! From my parents: small crock-pot to use for dips, Vera Bradley Miller bag (like an overnight/weekend bag), fleece robe, double set of sheets (so soft!), book light, Columbia fleece jacket, spa gift certificate, and my dad made me a memory book and mug on Snapfish from the Elton John concert we went to in October...and a bunch of other little gifts. From my sisters: Bearpaw slippers, hair products, gift cards from American Eagle, Walmart and Uno's. From my IL's: grey Uggs, bundt pan, a travel neck pillow, B&BW stuff, Rabbit wine opener, gift cards to Gap, Target, Chili's and Applebee's...and a bunch of other little gifts.
Favorite: grey Ugg boots from my IL's
Least favorite: not-so-nice-smelling perfume from my SIL
My two favorites would have to be the Canon video camera from my ILs and the ring my DH got me. Both were complete surprises.
Really, I was expecting the ring for some anniversary in the future, or maybe even as a push present, but I NEVER expected it for Christmas! It's a duplicate of my wedding band, so now my e-ring is framed with diamonds & sapphires on top and bottom. I hated parting with my rings today, but I dropped them at Mountz so my two older rings can be cleaned & replated, and then all three can be mounted together.
Also really enjoyed the back massager and foot cream DH got me. He even massaged my feet last night!
We had a great holiday. I got a new The North Face coat, shoes, sweaters, cooling racks for cookies, makeup brushes, Pampered Chef icing tool, and a bunch of other little things. Nothing was bad at all, my favorite is probably my coat.
DH got new nice cookware that we are looking forward to using.
It sounds like everyone had a nice Christmas! From DH I got a Kitchen Aid food processor that I've been wanting. He also got me a set of wine glasses. We cut back on spending for each other since we tend to treat ourselves to big things throughout the year.
We got money from my parents which is always welcomed. I got several gift cards to various places like Panera and Target. From ILs I got a Coach bag and a Bissell Spotbot Pet that I wanted. I got a lot of new toys to play with!
As far as gifts I wasn't crazy about, we got a board game from ILs called "Apples to Apples" that doesn't sound all that appealing to me. I'm not that in to games like that. But maybe once we open and play it once it will grow on me!
One of the many gifts DH got from his parents was Buzz Year alarm clock! DH does like the Toy Story movies and Buzz Lightyear was his fav character but he's not that in to Buzz Lightyear to want or need alarm clock. It's so tacky and juvenile looking! MIL thought it was so funny and cute. I felt like telling her to save their money! LOL! After we were in bed last night I asked DH where he thought'd he put the alarm clock. DH said he had no idea. I think that'll be one of those things that we save for any future kids by tucking it away in a closet or we may give it away to someone's kid that would actually like having the dumb thing!
I had a wonderful day yesturday!
DH got me a Kuerig Coffeemaker, a Nintendo DS with Cooking Trainer, new snow boots, 2 sweaters, & a puffy vest.
My parents got me a great purse, clothes, giftcard for T.J. Maxx.
My sister: a chi straightening iron, hair products (she is a hairdresser)
My inlaws- a slanket(blanket with sleeves) from BIL( he was my pollyanna)
money, soap.
Best present: My DS
Worst: my hand lotion and soap from MIL
The best part of Christmas was seeing Lydi open her presents she loved everything. Also I got DH a trip out to Cleaveland, OH to see "The Christmas Story" House. He started crying. It was great!
I got diamond stud earrings, horseback riding gloves, and perfume from DH, sweaters, a Polartec fleece, a cute riding t-shirt, Cranium, and makeup from my parents, Ann Taylor Loft and Eddie Bauer giftcards from my inlaws and my brother, and Apples to Apples from my brother-in-law. And DH and I bought ourselves a 42" HDTV and an upconverting DVD player on black Friday as a "Christmas gift to us," too, but we've had that set up for a little while now. It was a fun Christmas! My least favorite gift is the needlepoint tree skirt from DH's aunt. I appreciate the time and effort put into it, but it's just not our style (and I feel bad about that!).
DH got me a Pandora braclet (which I had asked for) but I was suprised by the number of charms he put on it! My two favorites are the giraffe and the baby carriage.
My dad gave me a Kodak pocket video camera, which is about the size of an iPod and will be great to take videos of the baby, and will great to travel with, since it's not really big.
I got a very cute Coach purse from my sister, her husband and her kids, and my other sister gave me beautiful white gold and diamond earrings shaped like butterflies.
I love all the presents I got, so it's really hard to pick a fav or least fav.
DH got me a Journey diamond necklace - LOVE it!
My least favorite gifts was these horribly ugly Christmas bath towels. I think I'm actually going to try and return them if I can.
I got a lot of other stuff, but those are the two things that really stand out!
