Dip

Hello Ladies,

I have a get together tonight, and I need a dip to make. Any easy suggestions?

Re: Dip

  • Ok totally cheap and easy. Buy a tub of sour cream and a packet of powdered onion soup, mix and serve, its simple but everyone always thinks it must have been so much more work then it really was.

  • I make a great but super easy artichoke dip.  Take a can of art. hearts (not the ones packed in oil) and chop.  Add a bag of shredded cheddar cheese a tsp of celery seed and enough mayo to bind.  put in a small caserole dish and bake until bubbly and golden.  Serve with crackers or bread.

Also the knors veggie dip is always good.  You use the soup mix some frozen spinach and some sour cream. My mom always served it in a hollowed out round loaf of bread and used the bread that is taken out to dip with.

    good luck

  • Spinach and artichoke dip is always easy.

Soften cream cheese, mix with chopped artichoke hearts, thawed spinach, salt and pepper and a little milk or cream. Pop into the oven @ 350 until bubbly. Top with parmesan if you like. You can't mess it up and it's warm and cozy too.

  • Travis makes pepperoni dip:

    8oz cream cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 (ish) package pepperoni, chopped

Mix all together until combined. Pop in oven and back at 350 until bubbly. Mix well and serve with any sturdy crackers (we always serve with the giant sized Cheez-Its... so good).

He always gets raves for this.
