Help! I'm now addicted
to Facebook! It was suggested I create an account by a bunch of people all within 10 minutes. Now i can't seem to tear myself away. I keep trying to come up with other people that I can "friend". i think i need a 12 step program.

Hi. My name is Susanne and I am a facebook addict.
My mom was actually the one that got me hooked on it a few months ago. I was shocked that she was on it. Now over half of my family is on there and it is a cute way to keep up with everyone. I have even reconnected with some friends from high school that I had not talked to since graduating.
I just rediscovered Facebook last week! I created an account back when you had to have a university-affiliated e-mail address, but then I stopped checking because so few people were on there. Someone asked me over the holidays why I haven't been on in years, so I checked it out again, and now EVERYONE is on there! I'm thinking it's the new MySpace, because of the real-time updates and chat options?
The good thing for me is that work blocks the site, so I can't be on it much.

I found so many people and have so many find me, some that were really unexpected friended me,too. People that I certainly wouldn't have made the 1st move, that's for sure. but i'm so excited that I was able to reconnect with my "big brother" and "little Brother". That was one main reason for me to join. My "Big brother" is a guy i did shows with years ago and lost touch. i had really wanted him to walk me down the aisle at our weddingm but couldn't find him and if i did, wasn't sure he'd even remember me or want to. i wish i had contacted him, or tried harder. he would have been honored. And my "little brother" is...was a child performer i haven't seen in about 5 years. We were always pared together in shows, me as the big sis or his mom. Now he's a junior in HS and has been dating a lovely girl for going on 3 years!
*sigh* this has made be very weeping. i didn't realize how much i missed them until i was able to make contact. Such wasted time without them.
