What are you looking forward to this week?
Hello everyone!!!!! I've been off work for the past 2 weeks so it's been tough to get moving this morning. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and new year. My inlaws were visiting for the past week and although it was nice to see them...I'm SO glad to have my house back to normal.
Last week I had my first official OB appt and everything looked GREAT and measuring right on track. The heartbeat is measuring 157bpm and we got to see the little one moving around on the u/s. Amazing!!! The past 2 weeks I have been feeling really crappy with constant headaches and absolutely NO energy! It made it a little difficult to entertain for the past 2 weeks. Oh well...this is all well worth it! : )
Anyway...I'm looking forward to DH's hockey game tonight, getting pampered at the salon tomorrow and just relaxing the rest of the week. I'm just hoping to make it through the first day back to work. Blah!!

I'm hoping to get back on track. It's not easy coming back from two weeks off and I have a lot of writing to do. I also start class again tomorrow - I'm already counting down the weeks until they are over.

Back to work today -- it was extremely hard getting up. This week I am looking forward to watching my cousin play HS basketball, dining out and spending time with my husband, and the Steelers game on Sunday!!!

Lesli, I've been thinking about you and wondering how you were feeling. I'm sorry you aren't feeling the best but I'm so happy to hear everything is going well with your pregnancy.
Tonight I'm having dinner with 2, possibly 3 friends...that gives me something to look forward to after this first day back at work. Tomorrow my strength training class resumes...I'm ready to get back into my workout routine.
I'm looking forward to another u/s tomorrow (NT scan), then a day at the spa on Saturday! Oh, and since we missed them last night, I'm looking forward to date night with DH on Friday, watching reruns of Dogs: in the Womb, then Cats: In the Womb.

It was hard to come back to work this morning, but I'm looking forward to getting back into a routine. Nothing much else is going on this week, so hopefully I'll have plenty of time to relax and read some of the books that I got for Christmas!
I'm looking forward to getting back to my normal routine and a new Office on Thursday. EDIT: Damn it looks like the office isn't new after all. Bummer.

I am actually looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. (I know it's blasphemy!) I have been off work since 12/23 and I am so bored right now! The holidays were great to be able to relax with our friends and family but now all of them have gone back to work and I am still on vacation...I know I should not complain...but I am so bored!

I'm actually looking forward to getting back to work. I've either been off or working from home for three weeks now, and I'm excited to get dressed and drive in there tomorrow. Now ask me how I feel about work later this week!
I'm also looking forward to getting back into the grind of writing my dissertation, meeting with my committee, and scheduling a defense date so I can graduate in May. I can't believe my last semester of grad school is finally here!

I am looking forward to getting back to a normal schedule even though that means going back to my three days of working (ick)!!! Also very much looking forward to my BIG U/S and appointment on Friday. I can't wait to find out what we are having
Also, today my Dad has a CT scan to see if the Chemo he has been on since September is doing it's job...and if not he is going to stop Chemo...which is scary. I am pretty positive about the results though because since he has been on the Chemo, he has had so much relief!!!! Hopefully that is because his tumors are gone or have shrunk!!! So if anyone has any prayers handy, we could use some!
I'm looking forward to DH's hockey game tonight and the half day of work that I have for both Friday and Monday. I have a home project that I'm planning to start so the time off work will be used on that!

I also like the routine of work. DH's birthday is Thursday so I am skipping bowling (yes bowling league with my MIL and SIL!!) to make him a nice dinner and spend a relaxing evening at home with no one else. I am having his and my family over on Sunday for cake and ice cream and to watch the second half of the Steelers game.

This week I'm looking forward to *hopefully* having Thursday off from work (I won't know for sure until Wed., blah!) and then going out to dinner Saturday night with my in-laws to celebrate my MIL's 60th birthday.
Glad to hear your appointment went well! I am sorry to hear you're feeling crappy, but you're right, it is worth it, and it will pass eventually and you'll forget all about it. (I didn't believe that could be true, but trust me, it is! That pregnancy amnesia is a powerful thing.)
As for what I'm looking forward to this week - the start of our Prepared Childbirth classes (moved to Wednesday night because of the weather), my 34 week OB appt on Thursday then going out with a local ladies/moms group on Thursday night, and working on the nursery this weekend!
