Re: ~*~Mrs.Stover~*~
I hope to be on the SAL board some day. I am ok -- taking a break right now from TTC. I tried a few rounds of Clomid, no success.
Other than that, life is good.
Keep us posted, I am so excited for you!!
Which RE did you end up going to?

Congrats to Jess! I'm glad to see things are going well for you.
Angela, I was wondering how you were doing but wasn't sure if you were comfortble posting so I didn't ask yesterday when I responded to you. I'm sorry that Clomid wasn't successful. I felt like that stuff was evil to begin with and remember the disappoinment of it not working after dealing with all the side effects. You continue to be in my prayers.

Christina --- I just completed round 3 of clomid. ROund 3 was 100mg and I was awful. I knew I was being so mean to people and just couldn't stop. I had many apologies to make. I can't believe just 100mg made me that way, plus headaches.
I am taking a break now to work on me a little. I'm not saying I'll never try Clomid again, just not right now. Plus they were testing my progesterone and each month of Clomid it lowered. It was only 8.6 with 100mg. I just need a break!!!

I heard he is good, I think Christina saw him as well. My neighbor is doing her residency in OBGYN at hershey and recommends him.
I am seeing Seagrave-Daily at wooodward - I really like him, but I am coming to the point where an RE is needed. They sent me to Manassian in Reading last March, he was good, but sooo far. After my 1st appt I was pregnant and didn't return. I'm not sure how far we are going to go. I always said Clomid would be the last attempt. DH and I are older, plus the stress of all of it.
I felt the same way about Clomid. It was like the words would come out of my mouth and I couldn't control them. Good for you for taking a break for YOU. I think that is important.
I did see Dr. Dodson for testing and treatment. I was monitored by him & the other doctors during the cycles. I think you know that I was put off by some of his blunt comments and the way he said certain things but I was also overly sensitive in that situation. It was hard for me to deal with the problem being me/my body... as he clearly pointed out. At the same time, I trusted him the most during the monitoring appts. I felt like he was the most confident in making treatment decisions and that made me more confident. I actually drove past there today and all of the emotions from our time spent there came rushing back. It does take a toll and is a lot of stress but looking back... I'd do it again in a heartbeat. That being said, you have to do what is best for you. You are such a thoughtful, kind, and giving person. I hope this works out for you!
