How to get over obsession with Twilight?
Seriously, DH is starting to think I'm crazy... every night I pick up one of the books and re-read them, or just read my favorite parts. Is anyone else as bad as me? I'm sitting at work reading through fanfic, re-reading Midnight Sun, and I can't seem to get enough. I guess I need to end my obsession- any ideas on how to do it? Unfortunately I think it'll all start back up when the DVD is released with all the extras... and then when New Moon comes out... ughhh... is it never ending? I just love it too much to give it up!
Re: How to get over obsession with Twilight?
I am with you. Its bad. Really bad. I cant think of anything (or anyone) else.
Its baaaaaaaaaaaaaad. And I am not sure I want it to stop. I am worried work will suffer.
It's March now?! Injustice!?
I have no advice as I am just as obsessed. It's kinda getting in the way of studying, which is bad, very, very bad.
Hopefully one of my bar hypos asks about the constitutional rights afforded to vampires and werewolves, then I would ace that beast!
When you find a way let me know..becasue like you i do the same thing, i have picked up the Twi books every night..i cannot sleep with some Edward in my brain!
H is getting me Twi on bootleg until the real one comes out
I don't want to get over it, so I don't know
I'm reading other books along with this series but none of them are keeping my attention as well
Are we supposed to get over our obsession? Really? I thought it just came a part of lives now. Kind of like my thirs child.
Me; "Let me introduce you to my children, Madison, Ashlee and my Twilight obsession"
works for me.
Follow my SK blog as I reread the entire SK library (again!):

Soon, they will come up with a mental illness that is from Twilight.
The lawyer in me feels like Can't I sue SM for the lack of productivity? And constant Edward fueled daydreams?
I don't know...I like my obsession, it helps me get through the day. With NM in preproduction and filming set to begin in March, I don't see my obsession going away either.
Maybe start reading other books.
Become obsessed with something else, it will take time away from your Twilight obsession.
I'm not sure it's any healthier, but my two new obsessions have taken some of my energy away from Twilight. (Some - I'm still here, right?) My DH despises all of my obsessions (Twilight is the one of the three that he can tolerate the most), so I'm currently in the market for yet another that he might approve of, to try and help me get over these two new ones.
I have a personality disorder, I think. . .

I am so glad to see this board AND this thread!! I have felt like such a freak about my obsession with all things Twilight!! But you girls make me feel so not alone and so much better!! Yay for freakish obsessions!
My work has suffered. I've been so behind at work! I keep blaming it on our new software, but we nesties know that's not the real problem.
