How often do you spend on the computer daily?
Not including time spent for work? DH was off of work yesterday and thought that I was crazy for spending so much time on the computer.... I was on it in the morning and in the evening and send an e-mail during the day while I was thinking of it... Total of about 45 minutes.... It is while the babies are asleep, I am not neglecting them, sure there is something that I could be doing in the house, but I enjoy this. He said that I am "addicted"... lol. He checks his e-mail like 2 times a week... I think I would go through withdrawl if that was the case. So I was just wondering what everyone does spend on the computer (there are days when I am on way more and days that I am on for 5 minutes as well)
Re: How often do you spend on the computer daily?
I'm on sporadically throughout the day from work, but rarely on the evenings or weekends, except to check sites blocked at work.
I'd say probably an 30 minutes to an hour a day, recreational use. Unless it's really slow at work, then perhaps more.
Well, I'm on the computer all day long at work and I'm not necessarily doing anything work related (as if you couldn't tell by the fact that I'm Nesting right now). Throughout the day I have the chance to check my email, the Nest, and anything else I want to do online. If I didn't have a chance to look at that stuff at work, I would probably spend a whole lot more time online at home.
When I'm at home, I'm not really on the computer much. I used to be, though. I was definitely an internet addict. I would sit at the computer all day long when I should have been doing something useful around the house. I finally broke the habit when DH and I set up an office in one of the spare bedrooms and moved the computers up there. Before when the computers were right there in our living area I would pop online for any little thing that I wanted to look up. I'd end up getting sucked in and losing track of time. Now that the office area is up on the third floor, I have to really need to use the computer if I'm going to bother to drag myself up there.
