Really bad morning; just need to vent
DH and I had a fight this am. Silly, I guess. Just feeling a little unappreciated. He works from home today and didn't help get the kiddo ready, so I had to do everything. That made me an hour late to work, so I was speeding and got tagged. Oh, and my registration expired last month AND I didn't have the current insurance card (I have the one for the period that starts tomorrow. Apparently not good enough.)

Ugh...sorry to hear.
It sounds like 'stupid husband' behavior is making its rounds this morning. H and I had it out this morning too over one of our recurring issues and you're right--it does set you up for a crappy day.

If it makes you feel better, I completely lost my mind this morning and started screaming and cursing and throwing things around the kitchen. For no good reason. I just got angry and went ballistic.
So, you know, at least you're not crazy and you have a reason to be mad! I hope your day gets better! You should go out for lunch and get a cocktail!
That does suck. ?I can't believe they harassed you about insurance. ?When I visit my parents, they always give me an old card to carry when I drive their cars so that I can have some sort of proof, even if it's out of date, since there actually is current insurance. ?Since you were covered, I think you could argue that one. ?I don't know that the reg says you have to be able to prove on the spot with a card that you're currently covered.
CO also has a month grace period for registration. ?Were you in that month? ?I'd argue that one, too.
Go to the Rio after work. ?I made a stop there yesterday, and I can't tell you how much it improved my mood!?
Rio is an excellent idea! My "other" job does Friday marg lunches at Bennys (have you ever been there? It's awesome!) Sadly I have too much work to do here to meet up with them this afternoon. But there IS a RIO's not far from here.....

Definitely, you need to hit happy hour. ?The margs aren't any cheaper, but the food is. ?My dinner yesterday afternoon was 2 margs and a plate of empanadas. ?It was awesome.?
