Please help!

I'm trying to put two new pics of Sophia in my sig. and I can NOT get it right!

All I did was delete my old tiny url's and inserted the new ones and now I get the red x's!  I hate being so stupid with this stuff.  Do you know why it's doing that?  I cut and pasted what I have.  I didn't change a thing and it's not working.  Thanks!

Re: *TheLinkBride*

  • Are these the two pictures you are trying to switch to?

If so, the problem isn't the code, it's the url you are using.  Instead of copying the code at the top of the page on snapfish you need to get the direct image code.  You can do this by either right click, selecting properties and copying that code or you can right click, view image and then copy the code that is at the top of the page when you are only viewing the picture.  I'm not sure how to explain it in words but if you want me to do screen shots I can so you will know for the future.

Also, do make a clicky link.  Highlight a word (it can be one word or several and it does not need to be the long http), then the chain is unshaded.  Click on the chain icon, insert the url, resize the box by clicking on the corner if you don't see Insert, then click Insert.

  • The top picture is one of the pictures I wanted to use.  I am doing the right click, select properties and copying that code.  Then I'm going to tinyurl.com and inserting that code there.  Then I go into my profile, edit it and delete the old tiny url and insert the new one.

Thanks for telling me how to do clickable links!

  • If you're having trouble, this would be the code for the first picture I posted:
