Homeward Bound Pet Rescue?
Anyone have any experience with them? I think they're located in Mechanicsburg.
We applied for a puppy with them, and apparently they called our references today -- just wondering if anyone's ever gotten a pet from them.

I don't have any experience with them but I asked a couple of my coworkers who live in the area. One of them is really in to cat rescue. She said she's never worked with them, but she's heard they have a good reputation. The other coworker said that two of her neighbors work wiht Homeward Bound. She said she doesn't know them all that well, but that they seem like really good, caring people. I guess that probably doesn't help you too much, but at least it's something, right

We originally applied for shepard/beagle mix puppies through Castaway Critters, but they weren't particularly good at contact, and then we got an email they'd adopted out all the puppies.
So now we're trying for "Holly" - shepard/spaniel mix. She's only 2 mos old. I just wish she was house trained, and not $300.
We'll still take her if they offer her, though!
