Please help with where to move
I don't post very much but I lurk all the time. Does anyone have suggestions as to good areas to move? We want to move closer to the shore. We work in Hammonton, so anywhere close to there would be nice. We've only lived in NJ for less than a year so I'm not sure about the area. TIA.
Re: Please help with where to move
I live actually down the shore, but I wouldn't suggest it. It is dead except for the summer, then it is crowded with out of towners.
Mays Landing is closer to the shore points, while still active and right off the Expressway. I lived there for almost two years and liked it.
One of the big reasons we are moving back to PA.
Our first winter here was a huge factor in our relationship. We learned things about each other we never knew before and spent crazy amounts of time just doing nothing together. It made us really strong. It is quite peaceful to walk on the beach daily with the dogs off the leash and no one else around. We have grown to love being here all year round and things are looking hopeful for us with our own business down here. That being said, if we close up for 2 months in the winter, I wouldn't mind packing up and heading south for those 2 months.
Where do you work in Hammonton? I actually grew up in Marlton (a great place to live and raise a family) but my H is from Hammonton so we were able to build a home there on a little land (something we never could have afforded in Marlton).
I like Hammonton a lot..some of my friends from there have moved with there DH to Williamstown and another town close by I forget the name!! UGH..
I live in Williamstown and I love it here! I've been here for 2.5 years, but my DH grew up here.
