I am so mad!!!!
I got a call today and was offered to teach a college course starting NEXT week and I cant do it because it is a Monday Wednesday class and I have a graduate class on Monday night! I am pissed cause I really need more money and it is an in and could possibly lead to summer work etc.. I called the guy back and told him I was available every night but Monday, and to keep me in mind for anything else.

I hope they call you back for another class.
He said it was a Basic Reading class. I looked it up and it is a course you have to take when you do badly on the entrance exam and you need to boost your skills to get on par with everyone else.
Do you HAVE TO take that grad class? I guess it's too late, but I think it could be worth passing up a semester in grad school to land a good working opportunity.
What degree(s) do you already have?
I do HAVE to take the class. It is the final class I need for my MA. I already went there in my mind and looked it up to be super sure that I cant switch it to another day etc.. I have been working on this degree forever and I can see the finish line, and I just CANT postpone it another year. I have 2 BA's
I am hoping for that! Especially since classes start so soon! I imagine they are in a state of desperation. Which works out wonderfully cause SO AM I! lol
