Are you going to a RE and which one? Are you having any sucess? I have my consult next Wed. with DVIG&F (as posted previously).
Re: PCOS and TTC
I was just diagnosed in November and recently have been going to SJ Fertility. I start Clomid this month and I'm hoping we have success fairly early with treatment. I had to have an hsg and DH had to have a SA before I could begin clomid.
GL with your new doctors!
I went to an RE, I used IVF NJ in Freehold. I obviously had success. I did an IUI, started with clomid but moved to follistim when I didn't respond to clomid, all in the same cycle.
Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer anything.

They actually referred me to Dr. Taliodorus, but I never had heard of them before, so I went to SJ because a lot of girls on here go there.
After the fact, I have heard of a few people that go to Dr. Taliodorus who love the office and who have had success.
GL!!
I'm a little late on this but thought I would respond anyway!
I was dx'd with PCOS when I was 20. I had no problems gettign pregnant with DD #1 (she was unplanned...) but when it came time to TTC #2 it just wasn't happening. After going 8 months with no sign of AF my OB referred me to SJ Fertility.
At our consult we came up with our plan, the Dr's were very aggressive which I loved! My OB wanted me to continue to wait for AF to show up but the RE started me on provera right away. Because of my age (25) my OB was all "you have tons of time, blah blah blah" but the RE didn't see any reason to wait.
I was started on Clomid. I did not ovulate on my own w/out it. After DD was born I had an IUD put in and never got AF while I had it.
I was put on provera to bring on AF and I took clomid (50 mg) from days 4-7 of AF (I think? It may gave been days 3-7). It worked the first month -- we were very lucky! We got our BFP and I just had my second daughter last Friday!
Let me know if you have any more questions! I'm off to bed for the night but I'll be back on sometime tomorrow.
GL to you!!!
Thank you and congrats on your new baby girl.
I actually concieved my son without medical intervention. I had no clue I had PCOS until this week. I went to the doctor b/c of my really long cycle and my annual. She decided to do bloodwork and called with the dx. So she recommended a RE since we are TTC. She said I obviously do ovualte, just not all the time. Thankfully, I am know aware and can get monitored and hopefully lose some weight.
