digital camera help...I have a sony cyber shot, not like that

matters because it is a general question.  I know there is a way to change the settings so that the delay isn't as long with pushing the picture button and the flash, I know there will always be a slight delay, something with the flash and shutter?? but how do I make that delay a little shorter??

TIA smooches

Re: digital camera help...I have a sony cyber shot, not like that

  • Go into the settings and look for the shutter speed.  Just pick the one that's shortest.  Also if you push the shutter button down half way it usually focus's and then once you push it all the way down it instantly takes the picture.

If that doesn't work put it on the action setting.  That usually takes a very quick picture.

  • And if you're in a bright room, you can try just turning off the flash all together.  You may have to have a steadier hand to get good, clear shots, but the delay won't happen.  Outside, you should never need the flash unless it's nighttime.
