It's clear from my It's snowing post below that I grew up in the rural parts of way northeastern pa. I love snow, and am not at all afraid to drive in it. I am down here, because the people around where I live are absolute idiots about driving in any sort of weather, they freak out when it rains and slow down to like 20.
Re: snow - driving
Proud slow driver here. I'd rather be stuck behind someone doing 20 mph than having a douhebag in a big truck or SUV riding my tail. I'm not scared to drive in the snow because I drive safely. I'm more scared of other drivers who think they can drive like it's dry out.
I didn't say I drove fast, I just don't mind driving in the snow.
And I don't mind slow snow drivers, but I hate people drive snow when it's raining or when they see one snow flake.
I'm definitely more scared of other drivers too. I hate the people who have the SUVs that think if they have 4wheel drive that means they can drive normal...
I guess my point was, I grew up on a dirt road that in the winter was always covered in snow and ice, so a little snow (inch or two) to me is nothing and doesn't freak me out at all to drive in.
