As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Anyone else notice that the other board seems to be more like it used to be before it went "public"? Or is it just me?

That's true, but I think we always had times when we'd have that, no?
Agreed - the NER stuff is, to me, indicative of the return to 'normalcy'
Didn't we predict it though ... that a month or two after the election it would calm down a bit.
Of course, that's not to say that it won't pick back up... but let's enjoy it for now.
