Dallas girl needs help with Chicago hookup
Hi Chicago Ladies-
I am hoping someone here can help me out.
Short story, I am a stage IV colon cancer survivor/patient. I will be 29 next month. The colon cancer community had created a logo to help our cancer gain recognization from the other cancers.
Take a look:
I had the logo made into a sterling silver piece to send to people like Ellen and Oprah to wear on their shows during March (colon cancer awareness month)

These necklaces weren't finished last year until April, so I had to wait until 2009 to try to excute my plan.
Here is why I need your help. I know Oprah receives thousands of pieces of mail each day. Who would the correct person be who would actually receive my package and move on it? All I want is for Oprah is to mention that it is colon cancer awareness month, and maybe wear the necklace on one episode.
Any thoughts, suggestions, or help would be greatly appreciated.

Well shoot. I'm not sure who the contact person might be. My best advice is to call Harpo studios and ask about the process--who decides what gets forwarded to Oprah? I'd also try www.livingoprah.com. I'd also start spamming the Oprah emails with information on the awareness month and the cancer itself. Maybe if they get a ton of information, they'll work it into a show during March?
