I think I have a little chef on my hands

Elijah loves being in the kitchen with me.  We've been watching the Food Network this afternoon and he's jumping up and down and clapping his hands when the people put the meat in the pan and season the foods and saying 'hot hot".  It's rather humorous.

  • That's great!  It's a good way for him to learn math skills.  You may want to look into Rachel Ray's kid friendly cook book, it gears certain tasks for certain age groups.

  • You may be the mother of a future FN star!  He sounds so cute.
  • Awww!  He's so stinkin' cute.  :)
  • That's awesome that he's so interested. My mom always let us help in the kitchen, measuring, counting and mixing things. I know for certain that's where my career interest began at a very early age.

There are many good books of age appropriate, kid-friendly science experiments you can do with food too!
