Where's your favorite place to go?

Re: where's your fav place have dinner?

  • oops..totally left out "to" have dinner in the subject

  • hmm..is there a particular area where you want to go?  DH and I have favs in Philly, Atlantic City, and other smaller SJ places.  It might help me narrow my list if I knew how far you wanted to drive....

  • between AC and the Marlton/Cherry Hill area..we're stuck pretty much right in the middle

  • We love PF Changs or Thai Taste in Marlton.  In Philly, I love El Vez for Mexican!
  • Giumarellos in Westmont is really good. The Tortilla Press in Collingswood.

I'm also a PF Changs fan. In Philly, my favorite rest is Amada.

  • Its a little further than Cherry Hill (maybe ~5 minutes or so from the west side of CH), but my H and I recently tried Cork and loved it.  It was fun/funky, with great drinks/good food, and a good spot to hang out with friends.  Its  We also liked Nunzios (italian).  Both are in Collingswood.  Mirabella Cafe in Cherry HIll is also good (relatively low priced, good food, nice atmosphere).

My H recently started free-lancing for SJ magazine, and he's been working on restaurant reviews.  Its been great b/c we're trying all sorts of new, local places (vs. the Stephen Starrs in PHL/AC that we tend to drift towards).  He sampled some stuff and really wants to try Cafe Capri in Williamstown...we haven't been there yet, but its on our list.

If it was just you and the H, I'd recommend the Chop House.  Can't go wrong, but its more of a good date place since its a fairly pricey steakhouse.

SJ Hot Chefs contains links to many websites and might be good to check menus/prices, etc.

    Have a great time!
