I was pretty surprised to see the snow all over my car this morning and pretty pissed off when I saw that it was ice underneath. It took me forever to scrape off my car. All of the roads at work were a sheet of ice, but 295 was pretty clear.
What time is inauguration today? Anyone crazy enough to go down?

Good morning! I guess I should have planned to get up a little earlier and clean off the cars, but instead I'll just be a few minutes late for work. Wooops!
I would rather stay home and watch the coverage, too. My co-worker is down there with his sister and her daughter. It is packed already.

I love how pretty the snow looks, but the ice was awful! I remote started my car and even when I went out 15 min later, the ice was still covering the windshield. My wipers were stuck until about 10 min before i got to work.
I hate this time of year. I just want to curl up and hibernate until spring!!

I can do cold, but need some sunshine.
I'm at work today and will be watching the inauguration on TV with my students.
We didn't get any ice down in the dirty south. H warmed up the car for us this morning
Up here at work there is about 2 inches of snow. I'm so jealous since we only have a dusting at home.
Our work is broadcasting the ceremony in the caf. this afternoon and I'm planning to watch everything there. I think they don't want the system to crash from everyone streaming the live news feeds.
Good morning! Even better since I just realized I could get on here at work. I can't make a habit of it though. I've just wasted my whole prep.
I warmed up the car like I usually do but had to pry open the doors because they had a thin layer of ice. Annoying. I wish we had more snow here. Just one storm this year would be nice. I want Aidan to be able to use his sled!
I plan on turning on the tv in my classroom for most of the day today. It's a teachable moment, and I'm not ready to get back into teaching after a long weekend.
