Not what I was expecting. Right after Obama was elected I saw on some entertainment show a few sketches that the designer had and there were some really nice ones to choose from. Maybe she wore those to the balls.
But their 2 girls are so cute!
the dress is "eh"... not horrible but could be better..
I am looking forward to seeing what she wears to the balls...

Pretty. I was surprised by the color the first time I saw it, but I like it.

Sorry, no. She is not at all like Jackie, and her camp really needs to stop the Kennedy comparisons.
The gloves were ick, a more neutral color would have been nice. The dress itself is a nice style, maybe another color, but still fitting. In the end her husband just got sworn in, so that is her real focus.
I'm not a huge fan of the "baby poop" colored dress either. I don't hate it, but don't love it either. I'm curious as to the dress for the ball. Their girls are adorable though! Loved their coats!
Nice on her, but definitely not a color I would expect many people could pull off. I thought she looked just fine, and the girls are beautiful!
I don't think that SHE is reminiscent of Jackie O at all, but that dress & coat certainly was. As soon as I flipped the TV on I thought "very Jackie". It's a very classic shape reminiscent of the dresses and coats Jackie used to wear. All she needed was a pillbox hat...hahaha. I'm not that fond of her, but IMO she did look very nice and pulled it off well.
