Obama had to retake the oath

Because John Roberts flubbed the oath as he was giving it to him. They wanted to make sure no one could challenge whether or not he was legally the president. I was wondering if it was going to come back. Interesting.

Re: Obama had to retake the oath
Oh my goodness. Well I'm glad they redid it. I'm sure someone would have challenged it. Thanks for posting this.
I heard this tonight too. I'm not sure it was really necessary since most constitutional scholars say that the president automatically assumes the presidency at noon. Even when Obama took the oath late on Tuesday, he technically became president at noon.
Did you see the footage of Biden and Obama today when Biden told a joke about the oath, Obama looked very unhappy.
I wasn't trying to be dramatic about it. I was just saying what every news outlet was saying, that he had to retake it beacuse of a mistake on John Robert's part.
But that subconcious idea is a pretty good theory, haha.
