As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Oooh! I forgot a really fun "positive"!
So, if you've met me even once IRL before the accident, you know I'm obsessed with shoes. They're my one true fashion love. Since the accident, I've only been able to wear flats because my balance was way off and the strength in my knee just wasn't there.
But.... I tried on one of my favorites tonight and waddled around the house a little, and I felt pretty good! It still feels a little foreign, but I think I might be able to try wearing them when we go out tomorrow. I'm INCREDIBLY excited! (I know, it's seems like such a silly thing to be excited about, but I used to LOVE the way I walk in heels, and I've really missed it.) So I'm happy.
