What's everyone doing this weekend?
We actually don't have plans for the first time in a long time. I'm hoping to make it to another Old Navy tomorrow to see if they have anything good. I'm seriously addicted.
Re: What's everyone doing this weekend?
Dh has a beer tournament tomorrow...not sure if i will be attending that though..lol
Sunday- Church
Not much planned at all. Tommorrow night I am going to a mass service in memory of my Grandmom who passed away a year ago. Other than that, is watching movies and cleaning/laundry.
Just a c&p from the Role Call post below:
Tomorrow we're doing Christmas at my cousin's house (his wife was puking her guts out the day we were originally supposed to go, so it was postponed a bit).
Sunday I'm kind of not looking forward to. My BFF and her husband separated -- they have been together roughly 12 years and have 3 kids, the youngest is only 5 months old -- and our group of girls is getting together to have lunch. This is the first time she'll really be talking about it in-depth with anyone but me and Tim'sWife, so I'm sure she's really anxious and nervous, and I have no idea what to do or say to make her feel any better.
Madelyn, what's that, 3 Old Navys in three days?? Lucky Elijah! Finding anything good for yourself in there?
Cyndi, what exactly does one do at a beer tournament, are there actual competitions? Other than, who can drink more and who can drink faster? Please explain!
I'm glad my husband didn't know about that beer tournament, or I might have lost him this weekend!
We are packing and going to our friend's son's 4th birthday. It is his last before his sibling is born in March, ending his reign as only child/grandchild/friend's chilld, and he gets stuck sharing.
Nothing much besides going to the hospital all weekend... Also DH is getting his daughter on Sunday so I'll be here for a litle bit while he has her
Last night I had my first jewelry show (I started selling it). Today I'm hoping to go shopping for baby furniture, then we're headed up to North Jersey for a get-together at H's cousin's. The shopping may not happen b/c H got wasted last night with my brothers while I was doing the party. So it will be fun to try and get him up to go shopping, so we can be home by 2:30 to leave for his cousins!
Tomorrow we are going to brunch at Caesars in AC for my Grandfather's 85th bday.
We have a pretty boring weekend. Today we're going to my cousin's 5th birthday party. H has to go to work tonight at 10 because they're taking a network down or something. I hate when he has to go to work late for those types of things because nothing ever goes right and he rolls in at some godly hour and wants to make conversation with me. And then sleep all day the next day.
Tomorrow we're having dinner with H's grandmother. She's going to teach me how to make her "world famous sweet & sour chicken".
We're definitely low key this weekend. H is taking the Praxis this week, so he's been studying pretty hard. I've got a HUGE meeting on Tuesday, so I figure I'll spend a little time prepping for that. The DVR is also at 95% full, so guess that means I need to spend some time with the TV.
Kristy--that's awesome that you get to learn H's grandmother's recipie. I love when older women pass down their secrets!
Today I'm picked up my new glasses. I'm excited to see clearly.
Tonight I'm hoping to grab dinner with a close friend who is in town from NY.
Tomorrow we don't have any plans other than church.
