When i woke up this morning i felt like i was buring up and thought i had gotten sick...Then i brushed up against his leg and realized it was him..i took his temp and it was 101
I ran a cool bath for him and gave him some tylenol...Is there anything else i should be doing???
I am a little annoyed w/him b/c he has been fighting something for about 3 weeks and refused to go to the drs...Now he is REALLY sick and begging me to make an appointment for him tomorrow..i feel like we could have prevented this but what are ya gonna do, right?!?
I just feel so bad b/c i have never seen him this sick before
Re: poor hubby is sick
Sounds like you're already doing everything you can for Jin. Just keep him comfortable until tomorrow.
My H has to be on death's door before he'll go to the dr. We've been together almost 3 years and I can't remember him going to the dr. but one time. Even that time it was because his entire torso was covered with huge hives!
I hope he feels better soon!!
Wow. That's a high fever for an adult. Sounds like you're doing everything right to help bring down his temp. The only other thing is to make sure he stays hydrated and rests. With his temp that high, its easy to get dehydrated.
Hope he feels better soon.
He needs to sleep. You are a good caregiver.
?
I woke up to hubby puking in the bathroom and I barely went in to see him. I am SO paranoid of the stomach thing and Addie getting it.
I'm sorry to hear that he is sick. ?Luckily you are there to take care of him. ?I'd say just make sure he drinks a lot of fluid (water, gatorade) eats something, and takes the tylenol regularly. ?He also might want fresh sheets if the fever is making him sweat. ?Hope he feels better soon.?
