I'm throwing my 22 year old sister a bachelorette party this July. It'll be just a small group (3 or 4 others) of girls her age, and me. I hate to sound like a old lady, but I really don't feel like going to the college bars and clubs that I every frat guy will be at on a Saturday night in downtown Milwaukee. Any one have any ideas for some cool bars in the Milwaukee area that are fun and trendy but not overrun with college age binge drinkers? Or does anyone have any ideas for another fun thing to do for a bachelorette party with only 4 or 5 girls?
In the end, I'll go where ever my sister wants to - I want her to enjoy her night. But I just thought I'd see if anyone had any recommendations.
TIA ladies!
Re: Help! Need Bar/Lounge ideas in MKE area
Here's a few that I think are a little more mature, so to speak. Many serve food too.
Hi Hat on Brady
Bernhardts in Bayview
Cafe Hollander on Downer
Nessum Dorma in Riverwest
Circa just off Brady (can't remember street, sorry)
Paddy's Pub on Murray
Trocodero on N Water
Hope that helps!

I didn't want a "traditional" bachelorette party.... so we played Bingo at Potawatomi and then went to the Friday's at Miller stadium. (Non-game night).
We got a table, and ate some appetizers. We each had a fruity alcoholic beverage or two... be we didn't get 'smashed' or anything
The table overlooked the stadium, and it was lit up just enough to look really cool
Not saying you need to be this laid back, but maybe look into Friday's?
I always thought this would be a fun bachelorette party....
