Please recc. a shampoo for sensitive skin/scalps!

Shoot, the last three shampoos/conditioners I've bought have made my scalp, hairline, neck, back and even my ears break out! (ugh, as if face zits aren't bad enough..) So there goes Pantene, Herbal Essences, and this stupid organic junk I picked up.

Can you recommend your favorite shampoos for oily roots/dry ends? I usually like to use a deep cleansing shampoo and a smoothing conditioner, but right now I'd use anything!

TIA

  • That must be awful! Rather than spending money on products that may or may not work, maybe try hitting up your salon or beauty supply shop and explain the problem and see if they have any samples you can try. That way you can try a few different products and hopefully find one that will work for you. Good luck!
  • I use the Whole Foods in house 365 brand shampoos....they don't have any preservatives or extra gunk....and it's a peppermint smell and costs less than $5.
  • I have oily roots & dry ends too! My hair is curly/frizzy. ?I use Tressemme shampoo (smooth & silky), conditioner (anti-breakage).

They are inexpensive and I love them, my hair is so soft & good smelling.?

  • What about using some of Blairs shampoo for a while?

I ran out of my regular (pureology), and started using Liam's "california baby" stuff out of necessity... and its awesome - and super gentle (smells great too!).

(the pureology is also very good too - they have hydrating/volumizing/smoothing formulas)

  • I would definitely try Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree Shampoo.  Also Paul Mitchell's baby shampoo is great for sensitive scalp and skin.  HTH
