SJ Fertility Update

I am so happy that I took matters into my own hands and made the appt. ?Dr. Packin was awesome and I feel so much better!!!

?He took the time to look over all my info and dumbed it up when it came to explaining all the girl parts & processes for DH?;) ?He did ?had an internal US and my ovaries looked good - from what he could see no signs of PCOS. ?They took about 5 viles of blood! ?

?

So here is the plan....

When blood work comes back, they'll see if I O'ed yet or not. ?(the US showed a slightly thicker lining, so he thinks I may have)

If I o'ed, I already have a Rx for Clomid which I'll start taking after AF. ?I'll then come in for all the tests, more US, more BW, HSG, etc. ?If test comes back that I O'ed but still no AF, I'll come back in a few weeks to get more BW done.

If I haven't O'ed, I also have a Rx for Provera. ?Then once AF does come, I'll follow the plan above.

?DH needs to also get a S.A.?

?I can stop temping & charting! ?(DH actually said "Thank God" when Dr. P said that. ?LOL!)?

As of now, no talk of IUI's. ?We'll give just the clomid a shot for 3 months. He didn't promise anything, but feels that clomid alone will be successful.

Thanks again for all your well wishes, and thoughts. ?I'll keep you updated :)?

  • Sounds like a great plan!  Glad to hear things are moving forward.  i love how they jump right in and dont tell ya to wait!  They get the tests started and start some kind of therapy right away.  That is great that you left with 2 scripts for med!

I think when they get started right away and go right into therapy you say to yourself #1 good I am NOT crazy!  and #2 this place trusts that I am intelligent and did all I could without them.

I have read alot of girls say that their gyn just tells them to wait wait wait.

  • I'm glad that your on a good path now with a plan.  I hope that you get your bfp soon.
