Re: I have an addiction to Triscuits!

  • You should try the Roasted Garlic Triscuits.  They are DELICIOUS!

  • I bought a box of the Triscuit Thins and they are amazing and actually not that bad for you.  It was the only 'cracker' in the aisle that didn't have high fructose corn syrup or anything bad like that.
  • I just picked up some triscuits the other day and was disappointed that they had MSG in them. ?I put them back to find something healthier and ended up snacking on kettle corn all afternoon lol... not much better.

  • The Triscuit Thin Crisps only have whole wheat, soybean and/or palm oil, and salt.
  • I'm reading the side of the box now, and it's exactly the same ingredients that Izzy said!
  • I love the Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil ones!  They also don't have MSG in them.

  • I'm scared now b/c I've been eating them all week.  They would list MSG, right?!
  • Okay, I just looked at the box. ?It's the fire roasted tomato ones and it's disodium guanylate and then it says (flavor enhancer).

I must have skimmed it too quickly and saw it as monosodium glutamate. ?I'm not a fan of any of those scientifically named flavor enhancers anyway.

I'll have to try the thin crisps since they appear to be more "natural"!
