Perspectives

It's funny, H's cousin's wife just had their 4th baby, and she posted the birth story on her blog, which consited of her going to the hospital around midnight so her H and the boys could sleep, than after her H dropped the boys off at the baby sitters, he came to the hospital, and she delivered at 10. I guess by the 4th delivery it's just another task to fit into the day? She just made it all sound so easy.

Re: Perspectives

  • I guess by the 4th one it makes sense that it would be easier!  :-)  Especially if the first 3 labor and deliveries were similar.

  • That's pretty funny. I guess by the 4th it is a bit more routine for her. Esp if all is normal and well. Imagine if it was a scheduled c-section. Talk about a task to fit in the day.
  • That is pretty funny- just another task to plug into the daily routine :)  My cousin has had 4, and all of them were super easy- she said she loves being pregnant, never has complications and goes back to a size 4 within about 3 months of each child... its amazing.  She even offered to be a surrogate for me & DH... but I don't know if I would ever be comfortable with something like that... its nice to know I have options though :)
Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
  • Good for her. I hope its easier for me next time!

Sounds like my CIL. She's so skinny and all her pregnancies/deliveries have all been on the easier side. But she said this will be her last because she's almost 40. But I wouldn't be suprised if that changes, they said that after the 3rd.

Wow, that's quite an offer from your cousin. I can understand the reluctancy though, but it is nice to know it's available. Hopefully it won't come to that. :)
